Campaign Contribution Information
Who Can Contribute?
You must be a resident of British Columbia and either a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident. Contributions must be made using your own funds. Organizations and businesses are not permitted to make campaign contributions.
2026 Contribution Limit
An eligible individual may contribute up to $1,429.70 to Ethel Lariviere's campaign during the 2026 local election.
Public Disclosure
If your total contributions to the campaign are $100 or more, your name and contribution amount will be publicly disclosed as part of the campaign's financial reporting. Your residential address is collected for campaign finance records but will not be published.
Tax Receipts
Anonymous Contributions
Contributions to local election campaigns in British Columbia are not eligible for a tax receipt.
Truly anonymous contributions of up to $50 per eligible individual may be made in person at designated campaign events, in accordance with Elections BC rules. A contributor whose identity is known to the campaign cannot request that their contribution be treated as anonymous, and online contributions cannot be made anonymously.

Lawn signs are available at no cost to supporters. If you’d like to help offset campaign costs, an optional $10 contribution is appreciated, but not required to receive a sign.
